1576 detainees granted bail in virtual court
1576 detainees have been granted bail in virtual hearings out of 2973 petitions in lower courts across the country. In six working days of the virtual court, 12,258 people have been granted bail through hearing in 20,953 cases.
Special Officer of the Supreme Court Muhammad Saifur Rahman informed this on Wednesday (April 21).
It is learned that bail and urgent criminal applications have been heard in a virtual manner. In a virtual hearing in lower courts and tribunals across the country on Wednesday, 2,973 bail applications were disposed of and 1576 detainees were granted bail.
Earlier, on the first day of the virtual court, 1604 detainees, 3240 on the second day, 2360 on the third day, 1842 on the fourth day and 1635 on the fifth day were granted bail in the lower courts across the country.
